Greetings AFEE Members,
It’s that time of year again; membership renewal! New for 2020; AFEE members may choose a print and/or online subscription to the Journal of Economic Issues. The dues structure is unchanged.
For those AFEE members who have already renewed their membership – we thank you! If you have not, we encourage AFEE members to pay dues online at our PayPal page: find the link by logging in to your AFEE account at www.afee.net Multiple year memberships and well as mailed payments are always welcome!
However you choose to renew, please let us know if you wish to opt out of a print subscription to the JEI, and as always, be sure to keep your mailing address and contact information up to date.
If you need to confirm your membership status, wish to opt out of the printed copy of the JEI, have trouble logging into your account, require a receipt, or any other questions, please contact Teresa Rowell, Log into your account to view the email address.
For those members who were not able to go to San Diego last week, the ASSA conference was fruitful and participants were engaged. Our thanks go to Chris Brown for a powerful program! Under the coordination of David Zalewski, AFEE had our annual Board Meeting, Membership Meeting, and Presidential Address. The Veblen-Commons Award Luncheon honoring Jamie Galbraith was well-attended.
Critical voices in our discipline are sorely needed, and your membership helps sustain the Association for Evolutionary Economics, the Journal of Economic Issues, institutionalist research and outreach, and the careers of institutionalist, heterodox, and pluralist economists around the globe. Thank you for your support of AFEE.
Wishing you a productive 2020,
Eric R. Hake, AFEE Secretary/Treasurer
