AFEE Call for Membership Renewal
January 27, 2023
Greetings AFEE Members,
It’s that time of year again; membership renewal! Continuing a new option from 2020, AFEE members may choose an online only subscription to the Journal of Economic Issues. All AFEE members will receive a print copy unless they choose to opt out - just send a simple email the the AFEE office to let us know if you'd like to not receive a printed copy.
The dues structure is unchanged.
For those AFEE members who have already renewed their membership – we thank you! If you have not, we encourage AFEE members to pay dues online at our PayPal page: find the link by logging in to your AFEE account at www.afee.net Multiple year memberships and well as mailed payments are always welcome! You do not have to have a paypal account to use this feature, simply select ‘pay with credit card’.
However you choose to renew, please let us know if you wish to opt out of a print subscription to the JEI, and as always, be sure to keep your mailing address and contact information up to date in your account. New mailing lists are constructed for each issue, and this is our source of information about your membership status. You can check your account information when you log

If you need to confirm your membership status, wish to opt out of or back in to the printed copy of the JEI, have trouble logging into your account, require a receipt, or any other questions, please contact Teresa Rowell, Log into your account to view the email address.
For those members who were not able to participate in the recent AFEE @ ASSA sessions and events, the conference was a success. We offered a hybrid of virtual and in person events. Our thanks go to Gary Dymski for a powerful program. Under the coordination of President Mary Wrenn, AFEE had our annual Board Meeting, Membership Meeting, and Presidential Address. The Veblen-Commons Award Presentation by Jon D. Wisman was well attended, both in person and remotely.
As you know, critical voices in our discipline are still sorely needed. Your membership helps sustain the Association for Evolutionary Economics, the Journal of Economic Issues, institutionalist research and outreach, and the careers of institutionalist, heterodox, and pluralist economists around the globe. Thank you for your support of AFEE.
Wishing you a safe and productive 2023,
Eric R. Hake, AFEE Secretary/Treasurer
