Association for Evolutionary Economics
January 24, 2017
Greetings AFEE Members,
Happy 50th Anniversary to AFEE! In the spirit of celebration, we have big news regarding membership for 2017. New for this year, AFEE has a new dues structure. We have two simple rates, based upon income. For those who would like a discount, there is a great option for 3-years at a time. Students are still eligible for a special rate.
Incomes less than $40, 000: $50 per year
Incomes greater than $40,000: $60 per year
Discounted rate: $160 for 3 years
Students: $20 per year, verification required
If you have not yet renewed, please visit our website at www.afee.net (or use the renewal form attached here which you may mail or fax to our offices) Some AFEE members skip printing anything at all and simply send us their renewal payment through regular mail. Let us know if your mailing address has changed.
With our new contract, we no longer ship the March issue to those who have not yet renewed. If you don’t receive the March issue, this means your membership has expired. If you need to confirm your membership status or have any other questions, please contact Teresa Rowell, email@example.com
We have copies of back issues of the JEI in our office. If you would like to fill any holes in your collection, let us know. Do you have a colleague you would like to introduce to the JEI? We would be happy to mail them a sample issue.
Thank you for your support of AFEE. Fifty years of debate and discussion is a great legacy and critical voices are still needed. Your membership in AFEE helps sustain the Association for Evolutionary Economics, the Journal of Economic Issues, institutionalist research and outreach, and the careers of institutionalist, heterodox, and pluralist economists around the globe. Thank you.
Here’s to the next fifty years!
